In mid July, on the way to Crested Butte for the annual wildflower bloom I spent the night on Boreas Pass to record the sunrise the next morning. I slept in my van just off the road below then marched up the hill in the morning to setup. This was the first time photographing this scene. Very happy with the results! Notice the amount of snow still hugging the mountain slopes in mid July! 14ners Mt. Lincoln and Mt Quandary Peaks in distant background.
